Danada Veterinary Hospital Video

We strive to provide your pets with optimal healthcare for their entire lifetime. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she is sick, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friends happy and healthy.

exam.JPGMedical Services and Treatment: Our highly trained staff provides your pet with excellent medical care. Once an illness is diagnosed, our doctors will thoroughly discuss treatment options with you. We value open lines of communication with our clients and will answer any questions you have. Because preventative care can help greatly expand the lifespan of your pets, we stress the importance of two physical examinations per year. Routine check-ups, including bloodwork and in-house laboratory tests, can help detect medical conditions early when they are more manageable or treatable.
Each time you schedule a visit with the doctor, your pet will receive a thorough physical exam. If your appointment with the doctor is for vaccinations or a heartworm test, they will receive a full exam to ensure they are healthy for vaccinations. The fee for this particular exam will be waived each time your pet receives vaccines.

Surgery_compressed.jpgSurgical Services: We perform a wide variety of surgical procedures including spays,
neuters and laser declaws. We take great pride in our ability to provide our clients with a safe surgical experience. We've answered the most frequently asked questions about surgery.

Dental_Compressed.jpgWe recommend routine dental care for all of our patients so we have an additional dental surgical suite in our hospital. Our dental services include routine teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

Pharmacy_compressed.jpgPharmacy: We maintain an extensive on-site inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplements/vitamins for the needs of your pet. We take pride in filling the majority of our prescriptions on-site at our hospital to ensure your pet is getting quality medication and the proper dosage. We offer you the convenience of refilling your prescriptions ahead of time either online or by phone. We stock a large amount of flea, tick and heartworm preventative to develop a safe program specific to the needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We advise year round heartworm protection for all our patients.

Canine Behavioral Counseling and Puppy Class: Our hospital has an on site certified dog trainer and a puppy class to get your new puppy started off on the right paw! She can also answer your questions and help your dog with basic manners or more specific behavior problems such as housebreaking, resource guarding, fear, and mild aggression.

Diagnostic Imaging: Our diagnostic imaging equipment includes an ultrasound x_ray.JPGmachine and a digital x-ray machine. Both pieces allow for clearer images and a faster, more accurate diagnosis of your pet’s internal condition. In addition, the digital x-ray machine provides safety benefits to your pet and our staff, and has less of an impact on the environment than conventional x-ray films.

In order to make your pet more comfortable during an ultrasound, we have a special procedure room. This room also gives us a quiet space in which to check blood pressures, perform ECG’s, or examine our smaller, exotic patients.

Lab_Compressed.jpgLaboratory:
Our in-house laboratory facilities enable us to provide quick diagnostic
results for bloodwork, cytology, urinalysis and heartworm testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Dietary Counseling and Prescription Food: We provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We also offer a full selection of prescription food for your pet's specific medical problem. As a client courtesy, we will be happy to order food for you that is not normally stocked in the hospital.

Cat_Kennel_Compressed.jpgBoarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Dogs are taken for walks several times a day and appetites are closely monitored. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. For their comfort, cats are housed in a separate area. Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available for dogs and cats; shavedowns are a service provided for cats. To minimize your wait during check in, we offer our boarding release form online.

Hours of Operation:
