We opened our doors August 1, 1989 with one doctor, Dr. Helen Dane, and two support staff members. Danada Veterinary Hospital has grown rapidly over the years and is a recognizable entity in the Wheaton community. The hospital now proudly services thousands of clients in the Chicagoland area. Our staff is made up of seven doctors assisted by over twenty support staff.
All our veterinarians are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association. They attend continuing education seminars on a regular basis to keep up to date on the latest advances in veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians also have excellent relationships with outside specialists in areas such as dermatology, neurology, and orthopedics should your pet undergo a procedure that requires more precise knowledge and experience.
Dr. Keith Berley
Chief of Medicine
"It was a difficult choice between becoming famous or becoming a veterinarian. The lack of any musical or acting talent made the decision easier." Dr. Berley joined the Danada Veterinary Staff in 1997 after graduating from the University of Illinois also in 1997. He has a strong interest in surgery and working on difficult cases. His favorite part of his job is helping animals and families through difficult times and forming life long bonds with his patients. Dr. Berley lived in New Orleans for two years and still has a strong affection for the area. When he’s not saving lives, he plays volleyball, works out and enjoys fixing up his new house; the one his 13yr old Persian, Winnie, rules “with her tiny, little fuzzy fists of fury.”

Dr. Jeneen Hiller
Staff Veterinarian
Despite being allergic to animals as a child, Dr. Hiller could never be kept far from them, so becoming a veterinarian was a logical step. Dr. Hiller joined the Danada Veterinary staff in 2004 after graduation from the University of Illinois in 2002. She especially enjoys surgery and wellness/preventative medicine. Her family includes a daughter, Kiley and son, Jack in addition to her husband, dogs, and cats. Dr. Hiller is on staff part-time so she not only gets to enjoy motherhood, but also continue to work with the Danada clients she has grown so fond of. The family loves to frequent their house in Wisconsin on weekends, and in her spare time Dr. Hiller loves to read, workout, hike and camp.

Dr. Lisa Kelly
Staff Veterinarian
To Dr. Kelly, the best part of her job is “helping guide clients to make the best choice possible for their pet’s health care.” She also credits the Danada clients and "our upbeat, professional" staff for her happiness coming to work everyday. Dr. Kelly graduated from the University of Illinois in 2001 and joined the Danada Veterinary Hospital staff soon after. She has experience in ultrasound and has a soft spot in her heart for working with cats and kittens. She has a full household of two dogs, Rocky and Basil, 3 cats, Lil Girl, Celsius, and Biko, and one husband, Tim. She is on a mission to visit every zoo she possibly can and keeps track of where she’s been on a map. Dr. Kelly also enjoys fishing, ice skating and spending time with her nieces and nephew.

Dr. Felicia Leung
Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Leung joined the Danada Veterinary Hospital staff in 2006 after practicing for about 2 years downtown and finishing an internship at Tufts University. She graduated from the University of Illinois CVM in 2003. Dr. Leung wanted to do something challenging yet different from typical 9-5 job and veterinary medicine fits her well. The best part about her job is “the clients and their pets, and the people I work with!” She shares her life with Sabrina the cat who she adopted from her surgery class at vet school, and Tyler a cat she adopted from a client right here at our hospital! In her spare time she enjoys knitting and crocheting, cooking, baking and running.

Dr. Keith Norberg
Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Norberg grew up next to Brookfield Zoo which naturally developed his love for animals. He was inspired to pursue a medical career and veterinary medicine was the logical combination. He graduated from the University of Illinois CVM in 2006 and joined our staff soon after. He has a special interest in toxicology, dermatology and cytology. Learning something new and being challenged everyday is the best part of his job but he also says “our staff is outstanding and makes each day fun!” He shares his life with his wife, their two dogs, Ronin and Jasmine, Elsa the bunny and two cats, B.C. and Trapper. His wife Liz is a certified veterinary technician so their animals are well taken care of! Dr. Norberg is also very excited to have recently welcomed his first daughter. In his spare time he enjoys reading, exercising and is an avid sports fan.

Dr. Laura Wallach
Staff Veterinarian
While an undergrad at the University of Illinois, Dr. Wallach looked into the university's vet school. She thought "I could do that!" She's been practicing at Danada Veterinary Hospital since 1996 after graduating from Illinois in 1994. Her favorite part of her job is helping people to do what's best for them and their pets. In her spare time away from helping animals, she is an avid outdoorswoman and also enjoys reading, music, movies and eating! She shares her life with her cat Jubjub.
