If your pet is having a medical emergency during our regular office hours call us at 630-665-6161 and we will guide you through the next steps. We may advise you to take your pet to one of these local urgent care or emergency hospitals if we are at patient capacity.
For accidental ingestion of a toxin, you may also contact Animal Poison control. The APCC is a resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They can be reached at: (888) 426-4435. A consultation fee may be applied. The ASPCA poison control website is a valuable resource.
